pH correction
pH correction is an important component of any water or waste water treatment plant. pH is the index of extent of level of acidity and alkalinity in water between the levels of zero to ten. Normal water we use has pH betweel 6.5 to 8. Water having lower value is more acidic in nature than that having higher pH. Higher pH is considered to be more alkaline. Higher Alkaline or Acidic water causes problems in industrial processes and also can not be used for drinking. Due to this reason, it is necessary to neutralize pH by addition of alaklies or acid in water, depending on pH of water.
